QuestionsQ01How do creators sign up?
Download the Tonakai app from the App Store and complete your profile.
Q02A brand I don’t know contacted me. What now?
Ask them to sign up on Tonakai. We contract with the brand directly and guarantee your payout, with no fee for deals you bring.
Q03Is the app free?
Download and sign-up are free. Some AI assistant features may become part of a paid plan in the future.
Q04Will I definitely get paid?
Yes. Tonakai guarantees payment on every deal, so once the brand approves your post you are paid 100% by the agreed date. Creators in Japan are paid in yen directly to a Japanese bank account by our Japanese operating company.
Q05Do brands message creators directly?
No. Terms, progress and approvals all go through the Tonakai platform. So that Tonakai can step in if anything goes wrong, we do not recommend, and as a rule do not allow, direct contact between brands and creators.
Q06Do I need a PR label?
Yes. Sponsored posts need a label such as PR or Ad. You can check it in the app before posting.
Q07Anything for tax filing?
Export yearly income as PDF/CSV; check filing details with a tax advisor.
Q08Is there an Android version?
Yes. It has been on Google Play since October 2026.
Q09Can I use it if I’m signed to an MCN?
Yes. Independent creators and creators signed to an MCN can both use Tonakai — just follow your agency’s rules.
